Omni V2 Production News
It shouldn’t be much longer for Omni V2 to get to you. Shops in the USA, Canada and Australia have started to receive their skates. We expect Europe to receive theirs this week, UK and NZ end of the week possibly next week. My container of skates should be here end of this week if not early next week. Our warehouse is ready to receive the delivery and quickly ship everything out.
The skates are finally showing updated tracking for a bunch of shops. Rollerwarehouse, Inline Warehouse, Intuition and Carriers all have UPS delivery dates next week in the USA, with Rampant in Australia and Solo Inline in Canada right behind. We’re expecting the tracking information for Oak City and my skates at Balance to update next week, and I’ll share an update as soon as I have a schedule. For shops in Europe, the factory notes the shipment is arriving at the distribution center on January 19th, and tracking information should be updated with a delivery date soon after.
The factory let us know the ship with our skates should arrive at the port in Long Beach in a few days. Assuming no delays, we should start seeing skates hitting shops in the USA end of next week. It’s all tough to predict but any update is better than no update.
No updates from the shipment yet, they’re still on the way but I haven’t seen any change in tracking. This means they’re still on the boat or train and haven’t hit the ports. Hopefully we’ll have some news to share next week.
As you might have seen on IG, shops in Asia have started receiving their skates. We’ve sent out tracking information to every shop with a preorder and within a few weeks should have some updates. For now, the skates are either on a boat or a train headed to the local country.
Quiet update again. Boxes have been picked up by the forwarder and are on the way to my warehouse and shops around the world. We don’t have the tracking information yet, and as many of these shipment are going by ocean it won’t really matter until they hit port, but we’ll keep you posted.
The skates are all packed up and shop orders have been set aside. We’ve confirming shipping costs with shops now and skates will start leaving the factory next week. This is the busiest shipping time of the year so we do expect some delays, but we’ll share as much as we can as soon as we know more.
They’re wrapping up this weekend and will start packing shop orders Monday. We got a few blurry photos earlier this week from the factory showing us the state of production, and everything is going smoothly. I’ll share more once I have shipping information but it looks like we’re running a week behind schedule, so first week of December for Asia, late December for USA and early Jan for everywhere else.
All the shop orders have been confirmed and the Factory is preparing the shipments. Again, not sure what that means so far as timing, but I’m assuming as they assemble the skates they’ll use the orders as a guide for what to finish first. I hope to have an update from them on Monday with an ETA, but sometimes getting solid dates can be tricky.
Currently the skates have wrapped with raw material production and are being assembled. This means all the eyelets are installed, the cuffs get riveted, the bases get painted, all the things. I don’t have an estimation how long this phase will take, but they did ask for my shop order breakdown already, which is a good sign. I would assume they’ll be done with assembly next week, which would be right on schedule for shipping mid November.
