The wheels are done and shipping to the factory next week. The factory is in China and our wheels made in South Korea. We’re using the same vendor that makes the 50/50, Chroma, Compass and Mushroom Blading wheels. While they’re a bit more expensive it’s worth the effort. We expect the wheels to arrive on the 14th just in time for the frames to be out of production and ready for assembly.

The skates are currently in production. We’ve been told by the factory that they should be done in 2 weeks, which puts shipping around mid December. We’re going to be expediting the shipment which means 25 days from factory to our warehouse. That means we’re likely to have the skates in mid January.

We’re thrilled to share that production has started. They’re a bit behind schedule due to some mold problems, but the factory is expediting our order to get us skates as quickly as possible. The liners are being made right now and we should start injecting the boots next week. Then it’s off to painting and assembly before packaging and shipping. I’ll have more solid dates once the boots get started.

The molds are done, the samples have been made, and they’re on their way for validation. This is the last step before mass production; final approvals being made on each size and color skate. The factory finished these samples Thursday and we should have them early next week. With any luck, everything looks as expected and we give the approval to start production. Everything will fall into place shortly after, with more solid shipping dates. So fingers crossed these skates are perfect.
